“If just 6 percent more people chose to adopt versus purchase their pets, we would end the killing of dogs and cats in our nation’s shelters,” Julie Castle (@bfas_julie), CEO of Best Friends Animal Society, said in a press release.

“Pets don’t belong in shelters, they belong at home. Our ‘Bring Love Home’ campaign is designed to bring awareness to dogs and cats still being killed in U.S. shelters simply because they don’t have safe places to call home.”

Be sure to submit your pet by posting a picture or video of them with the hashtag #BringLoveHome. Together, we’re going to flood the internet with the proof that home can look so different - and pets thrive in them all! -Sarah
